Speech & language pathology is the science devoted to the prevention, identification, evaluation, and habilitation/rehabilitation of a variety of communication and swallowing disorders. These may include difficulties with articulation (speech sound production), language processing and/or comprehension, expression of spoken or written language, fluency, voice, swallowing and oral motor function.
Our staff consists entirely of knowledgeable, experienced speech-language pathologists who are certified by the American Speech & Hearing Association, and licensed to practice in the state of Massachusetts.
Speech-language pathologists, also called SLPs, are experts in communication. SLPs work with people of all ages, from babies to adults, to prevent, assess, diagnose, and treat speech, language, social communication, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

After completing a thorough evaluation, a comprehensive therapy program is developed. All therapy is designed to meet the needs of the individual, taking into consideration the patient’s age, preferences, and activities of daily life.
