Emergency Department Screening Notice Heywood Hospital
New Safety Protocol

• Patients entering the ED Treatment area will be provided a gown
• Temporarily Visitation is Suspended in the Emergency Department (exceptions include caregivers, parents of minors, also subject to screening) Restricted Visitation will continue until more permanent safety infrastructure is in place.
• At this time, all protocols are not currently in effect at Athol Hospital. Full implementation is planned to begin in the coming days.
