ALANON

ALANON meets each Monday in the Briggs Conference room from 7 - 8:30 pm. 

Autism Caregiver Support Group

Meets every 4th Sunday of the month at 6 pm in the Hillis Board Room. For more information, please contact amanda.gallant@heywood.org.

Bereavement Support Group

The Bereavement Support Group meets monthly on the 3rd Wednesday in the Education Conference Room from 2 - 3:30 pm.

Cancer Support Group

Facilitated by Yvette Kondrotas. Meets the first Wednesday of each month at 4:30 p.m. in the Briggs Conference Room. Contact (978) 249-1207 for more details. 
In the case of inclement weather, please call the Switchboard at (978) 249-3511 for updates on cancellations.
Should the group be cancelled, it will be rescheduled to meet on the second Wednesday of the month. 

Diabetes Support Group

Our goal is to offer on an ongoing basis an opportunity for patients with diabetes to come together to receive continuing support, and exchange of ideas, networking, and education as it pertains to diabetes.

Held from 3:30-4:30 pm in the Hills Board Room at Athol Hospital on the following dates:

February 11
March 11
April 8
May 13
June 10

MENder's Support Group

MENder’s brings together guys facing similar issues including illness, anger, stress, substance abuse, relationship problems or major life changes. By using a whole host of techniques, participants can develop the skills to deal with stressors. Members of support groups often share experiences and advice.

The MENders - Men’s Support Group takes place the first and third Monday of each month from 7:30 – 9 pm in Athol Hospital’s Briggs Conference Room.

Overeaters Anonymous

OVEREATERS ANONYMOUS meets every Thursday from 6 - 7 pm at Athol Hospital in the Briggs Conference Room. There are no dues, no fees and no weigh-ins. There is no obligation to come back if you decide OA is not for you. OA members come in all sizes. Newcomers are always welcome.

SMART Recovery

A cognitive/rational approach to overcoming addictive behavior and maintaining abstinence. Learn to manage your feelings and combat the urge to use drugs and/or alcohol. Meets on the first and third Saturday each month at 10:00 a.m. in the Briggs Conference Room.

Smoking Cessation / Quitters Win

Quitting is more successful with support. Our Group meets every Monday from 6-7 p.m. in the Briggs Conference Room and offers competent advice and compassionate support can make all the difference for brave folks ready to take back their freedom from tobacco.
