Hospital Staff Honored for Long Service Athol Memorial Hospital recognized thirty three staff members for their service milestones in June. They are: Sally Swan, twenty-five years; Sharon Bradshaw, Todd Harbour, and April Swan, twenty years; Lorraine Bernard, Sabrina Kuchta, Sandra Loonie, Kathleen McPherson, Isaias Palermo, Ruth Picard, Debra Rice, and Barbara Whiting, fifteen years; Dawn Benicaso, Kathy Chaffee, Gail Flanders, Stephanie Herk, Kelly Sharp and Claude Valiquette, ten years; and Jennifer Brooks, Marrilee Costa, Janis Duffy, Lisa Dyke, Jane Gargulinski, Pamela Jobst, Angela Killay, Donna Killay, Luanne Muzzy, Jaye Nevins, Joyce O’Hara, Debra Proia, Marcy Robitaille, Tammy Tenney, and Mark Wu, MD, five years. Their combined service to hospital equals three hundred forty years. Steve Penka, FACHE, hospital President and CEO, presented certificates of appreciation at a reception held in their honor. “This is just a modest, but important, gesture of gratitude,” he stated, “for your commitment to this institution.” The hospital holds an event each year to recognize staff with five or more years of service. : |
