Respiratory Therapist
Cardio-Pulmonary Services
8 – 32 hrs/days
Position
Summary: Perform all technical skills relating to Respiratory Care;
perform various tasks on computers, check, stock and request supplies
when they are low; assist manager with QI and various tasks; evaluate
therapy for appropriateness and make appropriate clinical decisions.
Perform blood gas testing. Perform non-invasive cardiology diagnostic
testing, including EKGs, monitor hook-ups, charging, filing, picking up
and processing EKGs completed by CCT.
Position Requirements: CRT
or RRT NBRC credentials; minimum of 1 year experience as a licensed
therapist. Current MA License. BLS for Healthcare Providers; ACLS
preferred. Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally
and in writing. Additional languages preferred

Phlebotomist
Laboratory
13 hours/days
Position Summary: A phlebotomist obtains
blood specimens from patients by venous and
capillary puncture for laboratory testing and
may perform other clerical duties as necessary.
The phlebotomist works under the supervision of
a technical supervisor or manager.
Position Requirements: High School diploma or
equivalent; certification in phlebotomy;
excellent customer service skills; ability to
read and communicate effectively in English,
both verbally and in writing; additional
languages preferred ; basic computer knowledge
and word processing skills; familiar with all
equipment used in performing phlebotomy.
Speech/Language Pathologist
Rehabilitation Services
8-20 hrs/days

Position
Summary: Responsible for administration and direct application of
speech/language pathology interventions as outlined in the Board of
Registration of Speech and Audiology Licensure Standards. Evaluates
plans, directs and treats all patients referred to speech/language
pathology to obtain maximum performance and function and prevent
disability following disease or injury. Participates in performance
improvement activities within the department and hospital-wide as
needed. Assists in the daily operations of the Rehabilitation
Department related to speech/language pathology. Performs some
administrative duties at the delegation of the Manager of
Rehabilitation Services. Participates in infection control, safety and
educational programs, both in the department and hospital wide.
Position
Requirements: Masters degree from an approved college or school of
speech/language pathology. Current State Licensure in Speech Pathology
(as Speech Pathologist). Knowledge of principals and practice of speech
pathology. Performance of technical skills related to speech pathology.
Knowledge of infection control, sterile technique and related impact on
rehabilitative medicine practice and equipment. Current BCLS
certification. Basic computer knowledge. Knowledge of equipment
utilized in the diagnosis, evaluation and treatment of speech
pathology. Must be able to determine appropriate patient procedures and
evaluate results. Ability to maintain control and respond calmly and
positively during crisis situations (i.e., Code Blue). Appropriate
telephone communication skills.
